The Client

New Standard Cycles (NSC) is a non-profit bike organization that repairs and donates old bicycles to people without reliable forms of transportation. They asked for any suggestions that "could help us [NSC] do better."

The Solution

We delivered six solutions to tackle a variety of challenges. My team focused on the research and development of a volunteer program. I’ll never forget, after our final presentation when one of the clients said:

"We never thought a bunch of art students who don't bike would come up with ideas that fit us so well!"

My Roles

Since we delivered many solutions, for the purpose of this portfolio piece I choose to focus on the deliverable I contributed most to. Because of this, I worked on most of the things shown here. Including: designing & leading a co-creation workshop, secondary research, prototyping, and visualizations.
